Field Application Projects
In Spring 2012, the Wharton Graduate Leadership Program is sponsoring four Field Application Projects (FAP) focused on connecting students with prominent organizations to provide an environment in which students can apply the leadership skills they've developed. Three groups of 5-6 students each will spend a full semester working with the partner organization to provide meaningful support and tangible contributions.
Spring 2012 FAPs
MGMT 653.010 (Jeff Klein): Eagles Youth Partnership - Social Impact of Sports Teams II. The Philadelphia Eagles are finalists for Beyond Sports 2011 Best Sports Team award for their community and green initiatives. This FAP will build on the report developed by the Spring 2012 FAP and distributed at the 2011 Beyond Sports Conference in New York.
MGMT 653.011 (Preston Cline): Education as Change - Strategy and Cross-Sector Engagement in Haiti and Nicaragua. This FAP will examine the role of education as a lever for systemic and local change and as a catalyst for building capacity to address developmental challenges broadly, as conceptualized through a strategic development framework developed by the team.
MGMT 653.012 (Jeff Klein and Lynn Krage): Wharton Feedback and Coaching Network - Strategy and Marketing Plan. Students participating in this FAP will design and launch a persuasive, evidence-based strategic marketing plan for the Feedback and Coaching Network, a major new leadership initiative for MBA students.
