AUCTION POINTS: Both first and second year students will have a maximum of 500 points to use in the auction each semester. These points can only be used to bid on Leadership Development Workshops. Points used to successfully register for a workshop will be replenished for use in the following semester's auction.  Note that points for the Workshop Auction are allocated separately from points for the Venture Auction and the two auctions run completely independently of each other.

MINIMUM BID: The minimum bid is 10 points.

WAITLIST: Waitlist will be generated based on bids, but once the auction closes, you will be able to add yourself to waitlists with a bid of zero points. You will also be able to remove yourself from lists.

COMMITMENT: After the auction closes, students with winning bids will receive an e-mail outlining the registration confirmation process. In order to finalize workshop registration, those with winning bids must complete the steps outlined below.

  • Step 1: After the auction closes, students with winnings bids will receive an email. To confirm a seat in the workshop, you MUST send an affirmative response within 48 hours. Failure to reply will result in your spot being offered to someone on the waitlist.
  • Step 2: Workshops are free, but there is a non-refundable penalty for withdrawing within 14 days prior to the date of the workshop.  If you withdraw fewer than 14 days prior to the date of the workshop or fail to attend, your bursar account will be charged $250.00.  Exceptions may be made for students with documentable special circumstances such as illness or grave personal difficulties such as a death in the family.
